    Yeah, me too. Day 5-7 no weight loss. Did anyone ever respond to this question??

      If I ever stop losing weight from elimination of the fecal waste I have found it helpful to ride my bike or go for a brisk walk and also taking cayenne in pill form will loose things up by getting the blood circulating….eventually your body will resume shedding the pounds!

    After 5 days on the master cleanse diet, i lost 6 pounds. I am now on the 7th day and since day 5-7, i seemed to stop losing the weight. why is that?

    I am on my 5th day of the cleanse. I have done three, 1 liter SWF with little elimination following. I have to gag it down and almost threw up! I am concerned at the small amount of elimination I experienced as compared to others I have talked with and read about. I also don’t like the thought of retaining all of that salt water. I have been drinking the laxitive tea and have even taken senna tablets the evenings before doing the SWF. I have only lost 3 pounds. I am beginning to think I should get a colonic as I am worried about blockages.

    I am on my 13th day of a 30 day Bikram’s Yoga challenge too. I have been really trying to increase my water intake.

    Any words of advice?

      I found the SWF much easier as a hot drink. Drink one full mug at a time (mentally thinking it is broth was easier to drink) and then doing the master cleanse yoga series between mugs, until you have finished the full liter. I found the yoga series on youtube (just search for Master Cleanse Yoga and you will find several hits.
      I too did not have much movement after my first flush. But then drank the tea at night and did the flush in the morning, and eventually you start to clear out.

    I am certain that you are not supposed to do the Salt Water Flush everyday of the cleanse. Its hard to block out that much time to do it.

    How can I prepare the lemonade for a whole day? I hear the lemons go bad after 8 hours, and the pepper only for 2 hours. What is recommended?

      I make a days batch each morning. I prepare 1/2 gallon to take to work with me in a glass container complete with cayenne added; and i have never had any problems with the juice or cayenne losing its effectiveness or strength. I have done it this way for several years with great success. I am on my 18th day today for my regular Spring cleanse!

    I read an article in the Better Nutrition magazine about the Master Cleanse, and Naturopathic professionals recommend taking the supplement 5-HTP to help fight cravings and irritability while doing the Master Cleanse. I was familiar with 5-HTP but had not tried it. I did the 5-HTP while on the cleanse and I must say it did make a big difference for me..
